Hailing from Windsor, Saharas have been making a strong impression in the Reading scene lately. Saharas are backed by their electric live shows and fantastic singles, ‘Sweat’ and ‘Just Like Devils’, that are turning the heads of listeners for their unique brand of alt rock.

Now, they have released new single, ‘Mirrored’, and it does not disappoint. ‘Mirrored’, has an atmosphere about it, enduing a mood of melancholy throughout. It’s signature reverberated guitar lick is enticing, and Saharas familiarly tight rhythm section powers the listener through the track from front to back. Despite the forlorn ambiance, there is a clear groove to ‘Mirrored’, its undeniably enjoyable.

The lyrics are particularly notable in ‘Mirrored’ for setting a tone, one line that stands out is: ‘feeling incomplete, sitting on a dead repeat, feeling the noose tightening around my neck.’ It’s dark imagery, but pairs perfectly with the instrumentation. The haunting vocals in the track come to life in the powerful chorus that in time is sure to send audiences wild. Saharas may be new to your ears, but they will not be escaping your headphones anytime soon.

Listen to ‘Mirrored’ via Soundcloud, also available on iTunes and Spotify.
